The cottege is about 150 years old and it's situated in the heart of Donegal's loveliest scenic landscapes. There, the flagged floor and open heart, with its crane and cooking pots, evoke the homely life-style of a bygone age, and never fail to attract. It is a fine area fot fishing,golf, pony trekking, archaeology, sailing, swimming. Local attractions include Colmcille Heritage centre, on beautiful Gartan Lake and Derek Hill's gift to the nation. The cottege is a centre for activities which allow past tradition to be kept alive.
